Xero provides cloud-based accounting software for small and medium-sized businesses across the globe. As Product Design Manager I am responsible for leading a team of designers to deliver Xero’s suite of Business management tools – which includes Contacts, Inventory, Projects and WorkflowMax. My role involves supporting the designers within my team to deliver Product improvements, while also identifying opportunities for career growth. I also work closely with my Product, Engineering and Marketing peers to understand, define and execute the long-term vision for each product.

Virgin Media is a UK-based telecommunications company that provides TV and Mobile phone services, as well as the UK’s fastest high-speed internet. As part of a cross-functional, agile team focussed on the acquisition of new customers, I was responsible for improving the overall user experience in order to achieve business targets and increase revenue. I also partnered with other senior designers to create and maintain design guidelines and define design ways of working.

CEWE is Europe’s leading photo printing company. They offer an extensive range of photo gifts including Photobooks, Wall Art, Calendars, Photo Prints and a variety of photo accessories. Leading a small design and development team I was responsible for ensuring projects were delivered on time. My work covered all aspects of the design process from conception through to delivery. I would also identify CRO opportunities through A/B testing, and execute email marketing campaigns.
